- JDJoel DittoJan 2, 20262.0This place looks like it could be a lot of fun, but we were somewhat disappointed with the Verse Augmented Reality experience. We did Everworld, and it was buggy and laggy, especially during moments that required quick reactions. The experience also felt overcrowded. Our 11:00 group was combined with an 11:30 group, which led to too many people standing around in the simulation at the same time. The advertising is also a bit misleading. The ads show a couple enjoying the experience together, but there isn’t really a shared or cooperative element as portrayed. If you attend with someone else, you’re not actually working together on the puzzles. The puzzles themselves were very easy. I finished in about 58 minutes, while my wife took roughly 12 minutes longer. Once you finish early, there’s nothing additional to do, so you’re left waiting for your partner. Some kind of bonus activity, like target shooting, would be a nice addition. Overall, the experience felt overpriced for what was offered and didn’t justify the cost.

We showed up expecting to bowl and waited over an hour and a half and never got a lane so we decided to do laser tag and it was a total rip off. Jackson rushed the whole thing and didn’t let us be on the same team with the people we paid with because he said it would be easier for him. It was only 7 minutes of playing time. Jerry was our server though and he was super cool. Probably deserves a raise. Bathrooms had wads of toilet paper stuck all over the ceiling. #fatcatsslayallday

Jacksen the laser tag worker was “too lazy from working 12 hours” to switch the laser tag teams to the people we came with and paid to be on a team with instead of random people joining. Waste of money and the service is terrible

It was worth the money to see what is possible with augmented reality. We did the art one, the dinosaur one, and the garden one. You could still see everything and everyone around you, but you could also see the world they created. Best of Boston worlds.

And the marketing and advertisement for this is so false. Actually, five minutes into the 30 minute session I was gonna ask for a refund Once again, this comment is not directed at MAIN EVENT The other parts of main event are really cool. They have a really nice bowling alley. They have a lot of food options and drink options and a ton of video games but Verse immersive was highly disappointing
