Last evening was "Back Home BOGO" night. The restruant was packed. The serving line didn't go "out the door" but snaked into the dining area. McKayla remembered my name and my order. The food was fresh, and tasty while the portions were large. True, we had to wait in line, but we were very happy with the food and price. I think many other customers were pleased too!

They said it would be a 20 minute wait because "there was another catering order and a line of people in the store". While I understand, the point of placing the catering order 24 hours in advance was to avoid a wait when getting the food. Still, I get it - stuff happens. When my order was finally ready, what I assume was the manager set the food down and walked away. Not a word to me, no customer service, no offers to help me load the food into my car (this isn't required, but would have been appreciated). As I was gathering the order, trying to figure out the best way to carry it out to my car, the same employee calls out to me from behind the counter, "You still need to pay for that!" As if I wasn't going to? Made me very uncomfortable, since now the entire place was looking at me like I was trying to dine and dash with a catering order. The food was delicious, as expected. The employee at the register was very apologetic and accommodating, even if her manager was not so much. I don't expect a welcome committee, but a little customer service would have gone a long way in this interaction and it just wasn't there.
