Tried to get food here this evening.... tried being the operative word. I wanted a 5 meat Italian. Was told "we don't have any salami" so I said, thats fine. Can we just substitute extra pepperoni in place of what would have been the salami. "No, we can't substitute"... I left. I'm sorry.... I thought this was Subway where you can "Have it your way"..... I can see why the star reviews keep going down at this location.

Dear Subway #970-0 Employees,
This is a love letter. Not because you deserve one, but because the level of chaos in that store is so unreal it needs to be documented for science.
1 star.
I used to work for Subway, so I’m not confused about how the line is supposed to run. You are. Completely.
Let’s start with the bread. Cutting it so the sandwich can’t close is a bold choice. Shaving the top off like you’re carving a canoe and leaving the bottom so thick it could double as a cinder block. It makes every sub fall apart before it even hits the wrapper.
Then comes the sauce. I can ask for “the smallest amount” and you’ll still hit it with two full stripes like you’re painting a mural. The bread turns soggy, the veggies slide around like they’re escaping, and the final product looks like it lost a fight.
Your customer service is just as impressive—if the goal is to make people regret walking in. No greeting. No listening. No urgency. Just attitude, blank stares, and the energy of someone being held hostage behind the counter.
Now the main event: the lunch rush disaster.
Your oven timer screamed for FOUR MINUTES while you managed to burn SIX trays of bread. SIX. Trays. Meanwhile my sandwich sat in the toaster oven long enough to become a fossil. And the line backed up through the store while both of you stood at the register staring at a Sub Club membership issue like it was a hostage negotiation. During lunch rush. With customers walking in. Like nothing in the universe mattered except that screen.
And the cheese argument? Sweet Mercy. Refusing the cheese a customer requests because “it’s not listed on the menu” for that sandwich is peak stupidity. Subway is literally built on customization.
So here’s my official message, wrapped up with a little bow:
DO YOUR JOB.
Pay attention. Stop burning everything. Listen to the order. Move faster than a sloth on NyQuil. And please, for the love of basic employment, stop acting like customers are the problem for expecting a sandwich to be… edible.
Love,
A customer who is embarrassed for Subway every time I walk into this store

I’m not one to be a Karen but I am getting a little tired of my sandwich missing stuff that, per the menu, is supposed to come on it. This is at least the 4th time I’ve come to this subway and have not had salami on my cold cut combo. I’ve attempted to address staff, and I am met with “it doesn’t come on it”. Then tell me why is it literally listed on the menu as one of the ingredients? Not super happy.

A certain employee doesnt even know how to make the sandwiches. I I asked for the Philly so make sure to know how its made to tell him how to do his job. Train your people better Subway. Not the kids fault really but they can smile a bit more. Perhaps their getting paid to scare off customers lol definitely not going to this location
