  I have regularly shopped at Safeway Cedar 3100 N West St. Flagstaff AZ, for many years. In the time I have been shopping here I can honestly say the staff has been friendly, accommodating and helpful in exception to Theo. 4/2/26 around 7pm I approached the deli counter to purchase goods. Upon arriving to the counter Theo dryly asked me what I would like, when I had responded that I was there for roast beef he asked which one I would wanted out of the three offered, having no knowledge of what the difference was I asked him which one he would recommend. Theo then responded with, “well the one I would choose is $16.99-17.99lbs London broil, I don’t think you want that.” (either of the prices not sure exactly which), insinuating I could not afford it or want it due to cost (cost was not factor for me) I then tried to quickly make a selection, I was taken a back and uncomfortable. Theo was disgustingly rude and unwelcoming during the entire duration of our interaction, including asking how I wanted to meat cut and handing it to me. I thanked him in which I got no response and a dirty look. I don’t go to the deli counter often, Theo acted very inconvenienced and annoyed that I didn’t know exactly what I wanted the second he asked. I have shopped at the butcher counter often and interacted with many employees, none have ever acted in such a way as Theo. I spoke to the long haired woman I see regularly in self checkout ( I can’t recall her name) about my interaction with Theo and expressed my disappointment in his customer service. She was very kind, as majority of the staff usually is. Only leaving this review because I was not able to send in a formal complaint in app due to “invalid characters”. Transparently, Theos customers service deserves 1 star.

  The pharmacy is lame! They close every day at 1:30. This has inconvenienced me multiple times. Become customer centric and you might get better reviews!

  I usually do "Drive Up & Go" & have had great service. They are always willing to go above & beyond to make things right if there is a mistake. They guys & gals work hard at this location. Treasure is a real treasure & she loves what she does!

  I had locked my keys and wallet and phone in my car. Im not from Flagstaff so I was a little frantic. I went to the guest services where A young woman allowed me to use the phone to call AAA. I cant remember her name. I think it started with an 'L' She brought me a chair while I waited. Im diabetic and my sugar was getting low so I asked if I could get a candy bar and pay when I got my car unlocked. She did not hesitate and said I didnt have to pay her back. Of course I had to pay her back for her kindness. She saved me embarrassment from a low sugar attack and didnt make me feel like an imposition. In a world where so many employees are rude and lazy, she was a beautiful soul in my time of need.
