  I quite like this location of Portillo's and the food at Portillo's in general. I got the limited edition #3 out of the "Famous Five", the Big Burger Bundle. Quite delightful and good price for what is included. What is included you ask? Well I'm happy to share! The Bundle comes with a delicious Big Burger, with a choice between burger (no cheese), and cheeseburger (cheese included), you can customize and choose to your liking, the only advice I would give for this step is be wary of adding bacon, due to the $1.80 "bacon fee" added to your order upon bacon addition. My order for the burger was a cheeseburger (cheese included) lettuce, pickles and onions, which I later regretted because I do not favor or prefer onions. Moving on to the comparatively concise section of this review, the fries order, the options were normal and large, be wary that here the expansion to a larger fry size will inevitably, yet unfortunately drive up the final price of the #3 big burger combo. Here comes the interesting part, you are not required to immediately chose the flavor of your drink!   We were not impressed with our first time going there. Ordering through their kiosk was easy, but a long wait to get food. The order was missing some items which they resolved. The burgers were not impressive and disappointing. First time eating there and will be our last. The guy who was cleaning the dining area was doing a great job since it was spotless.

  Having lived in Chicago I can say it's just an inferior experience overall in Chandler. The last straw for me was the beef and cheddar croissant. There was no croissant. It was a piece of processed bread that made the sandwich worse... almost inpalatable, feeling sickened. The delivery service is inconsistent. I ordered the beef and sausage combo. They omitted the sausage. I ordered the sausage entree, no peppers at all. Maybe if they paid their people enough they would have pride in the organization? I recommend Luke's of chicago on Indian School road.

  I’ve never been to Portillo’s before and decided to give it a try. I had no idea they had other food! I thought they only had hot dogs. I went through the drive thru and Danielle helped walk me through the menu. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. I ordered the Italian beef sandwich meal and chicken tenders. It all tasted amazing! Definitely will come back!

The MAXWELL STREET POLISH at Portillo’s (📍 7200 W Ray Rd, Chandler) is not just a menu item—it is a culinary event, a full-on flavor sermon, and I am here to testify. This thing is MASSIVE. A juicy, smoky Polish sausage with that perfect snap, grilled to absolute perfection, then smothered in sweet, caramelized grilled onions that are so good they deserve their own fan club. Add the classic mustard, and suddenly you understand why Chicago treats this sandwich like sacred ground. It’s bold, savory, messy in the best way, and completely unapologetic. One bite and you’re like, “Oh. THIS is what they’ve been talking about.” OMG doesn’t even scratch the surface. And let’s not overlook the Chicago-style hot dog, because Portillo’s executes it with surgical precision. The snap of the dog, the fresh toppings, the soft poppy seed bun—it’s balanced, bright, and wildly satisfying. It’s not trying to be fancy; it’s just perfect, and that’s harder to pull off than it looks. Now—and this is IMPORTANT—save room for the seasonal cake shakes. These are not shakes. This place understands its mission and executes it flawlessly. If you haven’t had a Maxwell Street Polish, a proper Chicago dog, and a seasonal cake shake from this Portillo’s, I regret to inform you that your life is currently missing something important. Fix that immediately.
