Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This Whataburger is not up to standard with other Whataburger locations. I almost always have an issue with my order. Today they got wrong again and and it was COLD. There arent very many Whataburger locations so this is unfortunate. $20 per person. Should be better.

Only one car in line in the drive thru. I never got food because I had to back out of the drive-thru because the service is taking for long. Every time I go to Whataburger. This is the experience they're crappy, food or crappy service but mostly crappy service.

The girl at the window forgot the ranch, fries and the taquito and when we asked for our food she gave us attitude for their mistake. Snatched the bag out of my cousin's hand.
Please correct this employee!
No one should be treated this way!

If your going to charge $3.69 for medium fries you better give me more than a half empty sleeve. And you forgot the spicy ketchup 🤬. Every time I come to this location there is an issue with some part of my order.

Whataburger’s food is pretty consistent no matter which location you go to, however, the service can vary. The location at Gilbert/Queen Creek Road is overall a good location. It’s always open, which is convenient if you work early mornings or late nights as not much else is open at those times in this area. Their food is generally pretty good except for the occasional undercooked or older food item. I think the green chili double cheeseburger and the chicken strips are very tasty if you’re looking for a food suggestion. The main issue with this location is speed of service and professionalism of the staff. I am not sure why, but this location in particular is VERY slow. Do not come here if you’re in a rush. I’ve waited more than 20 minutes for food on more than 3 trips, it is an issue. The staff are usually very kind and helpful, but sometimes they can be short or unprofessional. I also have seen an employee wearing gloves (at 2 separate visits) and not changing them through several transactions, touching money, debit cards, food items, drinks, and more with the exact same pair of gloves on. Gloves do not substitute good hand hygiene or food handling safety. That’s a health code violation in the making for sure. Apart from that, the staff seem to be trying their best and may be shorthanded which could explain the wait times and occasional short attitudes. Like I said above and overall, this is a good location with good food. I am grateful they are near and open 24/7 as I do work late nights occasionally.
