  I'm from Chicago and this location does it the way it should be! The service and food was better than most visits I take to my hometown Portillo's. Dick would be proud of the level they are performing at here.

  Today was my first time coming to this Portillo‘s location and I really enjoyed my visit. Ben was at the register and had a great attitude and helped me pick out my options. He greeted me with a smile. It made my experience great. I could recommend this Portillo‘s over the Tempe one.

  I’ve been eating at Portillo’s for over 20 years. The new location on Ray rd is a complete garbage. I pay almost $15 for an Italian beef with onion rings. You want to talk about shrink flation. The sandwich had an inch at one end that had no meat, and the rest of the sandwich was only half filled with meat. I got maybe 6-7 onion rings. You just lost a customer, because I will not eat there again.

  Ordered from DoorDash and my order was for 2 hot dogs with everything on it and I added ketchup. They gave me 2 hot dogs with absolutely nothing but ketchup. First time eating here so not too thrilled about it. Idk if the way the orders show up in your system need to be fixed or if the employees just had an off night but I probably won't order from here again. The receipt on the bag just said "hot dog add ketchup" but the DD order said "everything add ketchup". Makes me think someone got confused by the receipt that prints out in the kitchen for these orders.

  Came to this new location for the first time. We've been to many other portillos locations in the passed. Food was great 👍 but the one thing that was a let down was calling for the order numbers. Today 12/12/25 we came around 4pm ish. We used the kiosk cause most new location's dont have it. As we sat outside waiting for them to call out the order numbers 🙄 we didn't hear it. The elder gentleman that did the call out looked just looked at our order. We waited little over 20mins so my brother had to go inside and get the food cause we didnt hear them call the number from outside. If you sat inside you would hear your numbers being called loud n clear... You have speakers outside for music but didnt hear any order numbers being call. Where we sat can see them inside calling the number. Being a new location there's still some updates needed with the intercom system for outside.
