  Ordered the Divordiaco Chicken Enchiladas and I received regular chicken enchiladas. I was then told the Divordiaco Enchiladas were removed from the menu. Regular chicken enchiladas were plain and very boring.

  I would love to tell you how the food was but I never got to that point. On a Friday at 12:30 there was only one waitress which resulted in waiting at our table for 15mins with no contact. During those 15 mins I watched one table leave due to no service and another table seat themselves after no contact from an employee. Needless to say, while the food on the menu looked good, I opted to leave as the service wasnt picking up.

  Visiting from Canada and wow… Jefe’s Mexican Restaurant absolutely blew us away. I had the ribeye steak with vegetables and every bite was perfect. So flavorful, beautifully cooked, and genuinely delicious. I cleaned my plate, jalapeños and all. With so many Mexican food options in Chandler, this is by far our family’s favorite. If you’re local or just passing through like us, don’t miss this place. So, so good.

  The food is decent but the service is horrible. I've had this place catered to my business and I'm very disappointed. The little girl at the front is very rude and the manager/owner could care less. Nando's is right up the street with better food and service. Save your money and go somewhere else where your business is appreciated.

  Our experience at Jefe's was outstanding from beginning to end. We were seated quickly and within moments delivered chips, salsa, and drinks. The initial salsa was a little watery, but then our server suggested the salsa verde when my husband asked for something spicier. The salsa verde had a nice tang and delicious subtle smokey flavor, and the heat built up but was definitely present. We got the jalapeño rangoons to start, and those were fantastic. For entrees my husband got the birria burrito, which was so good he insisted I try some. The consomme was perfect and the meat was super tender. My daughter got the pastor street tacos, which she really enjoyed. I tried the cod taco and the Korean bulgolgi taco, and I honestly don't know which was better. The cod was crisp and hot and the bulgolgi was that perfect blend of savory with a slight sweetness. The mini churros for dessert were super fresh and some of the best we've ever had. Our server, David P, was so friendly and kind. He is the kind of server that makes a good experience into a great one. This is the kind of place where everything on the menu sounds so good you want to change your order the next time you visit, but at the same time what you ordered is so delicious you are tempted to just go with that again!
