  I’ve lived in Cave Creek for 25 years. Today, was the first time at Ofrenda. The waitress was amazing, she listened to my needs as I take GLPs and knew exactly what I wanted. It’s the first time I’ve been to a place that let me order something not on the menu. The shrimp was amazing! My kid loved the brisket enchiladas. Definitely a five out of five! Thank you!!

  This was my daughter’s third time and my first. We have not found a Mexican restaurant that made us just want to come back more and more and more since we moved to Arizona mid August… 1 taste of the chips and salsa sampler we were hooked our meals, came out and were delicious however, when I went to cut into my second enchilada, there was a long hair and it was cooked into the burnt cheese spot on the edge of my enchilada. Initially, I thought it was mine, though I have long hair. Mine is very curly and gray. This hair was a little wave and red. It would not pull out of the cheese. We got the waitresses attention and she immediately blamed me and told me it was my hair that her cooking Staff has no hair to which I said that is not my hair. I tried to pull it out and when she went to pull it out wanting to prove me wrong she even had to really pull and she says oh I’m so sorry. Let me see they went. They talked when she came back. She’s still blamed it on me and said oh it just came right out it wasn’t from us and she says, but so there’s no issues. I took it off your bill and I said I didn’t want it taken off my bill. I was hoping you would remake two of the three enchiladas as I ate one and she says no I took it off your bill and I said I was really looking forward to leftovers anyway when we paid the bill she said and again you’ll notice I took your plate off even though it was your hair the way I was treated is why we will not go back now. I was treated so poorly and it was not my hair and I am so sad because that was the best dinner we have had since moving to Arizona. But the way that I was specifically treated, I am not going to finance a place treating me like crap and blaming me. Otherwise the ambience was amazing. I would’ve loved to have sampled everything on the menu because the flavors were great, but they themselves are not welcoming and lacking customer service

  The atmosphere was wonderful and everything looked amazing. Unfortunately they fell short when it came to the service and the food. I ended up going to the bar to get a drink since our waitress hadn't come back to the table or ask if we wanted anything else. The tacos I got weren't anything I would want or order again. I was looking forward to trying this place out since it looked amazing but was met with disappointment instead.
