Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Whataburger. I was buying dinner for my grandson and specifically ordered a plain #1 with cheese only. I also upgraded the fries to a large onion ring and the drink to a medium chocolate shake. After driving 4.5 miles home, I discovered the burger was made incorrectly. I called the store and had to drive all the way back to get it fixed. While they agreed to replace the burger, they refused to replace the onion rings, even though they had become cold, greasy, and soggy by the time I returned home again. I explained the situation, but the closing manager, Jacob H., insisted that only the burger would be replaced since that was the only item they considered “incorrect.” This whole situation caused unnecessary delays, and my grandson had to stay up much later than expected just to eat dinner. I placed my original order at 10:50 PM and didn’t get back home from the two round trips until 11:40 PM. To make matters worse, I had even gone out of my way to support their store sales contest by purchasing an additional apple pie, only to feel like my concerns about the onion rings were dismissed and treated as an inconvenience. This was my first negative experience at Whataburger, and it was extremely frustrating. I expected better customer service and a more reasonable resolution.

I opted for the drive through, and everything was received in a very timely manner. Just like everywhere else, it's starting to get a bit pricey. Our burgers were still warm by the time I got home, I wish the burgers had more jalapenos The onion rings were enough for the two of us to share. The hubby always enjoys the chocolate shakes. I tried the Strawberry Hibiscus Refresher, which I thought was very tasty.

The sodas had no syrup flavor at all, actually tasted bad, the fries were undercooked, i asked for four spicy ketchups and got two, the green chili double had green chili but it was the smallest amount i have ever seen from a whataburger. I laughed at the sandwich for a few minutes thinking are you serious😭 yall went through the work to add the chili but the amount was smaller than a single pickle chip. They also parked me in the drive-through for a long time, all for a small order. I would hire new employees if i cared about the success of this restaurant, making fast food isn’t hard people, I did it for years. This place is mismanaged obviously 😭Worst whataburger experience ever and i have been a customer for years 👎

This was our first experience at a Whataburger before. I prefer other burger places like In-N-Out over this but it's a decent burger. Fries are pretty good, but all in all the food is just fine. It's a bit on the pricey side for fast food, but the portions are good so it's not a terrible value. The service team was friendly and fast, and the restaurant was clean. I could take or leave the food, but if you like Whataburger, this one is great.

I went to Whataburger for the first time and I had an awesome experience. The food is really good and the customer service is even better. They brought out the food to me and even took my plate after I was done. The staff were super nice. They waved and welcome me in even though it was the high of a lunch rush. My food also still came out fast and tasted great. Best experience I had ever had in a fast food chain.
