- SGSilver GDec 1, 20255.0This post is a pretty sensitive one because I’m sharing some pretty personal information, but I lost my job almost 2 months ago and also have severe chronic pain that has gotten much worse over the last couple of years so it’s been hard to work the jobs I normally work where I’m on my feet a lot. With that being said I have been extremely strapped for cash and struggling quite a bit. I had lost my card and it was a day before thanksgiving and I really wanted to get a couple things for me and my kids for thanksgiving. It would just be us because I have no family out here. They have a rule where they cannot enter in card information without the physical card being present (which is absolutely respectable). I was so overwhelmed that I actually broke down and started panicking. With tears in my eyes as I start to gather my belongings to leave as fast as I could because of embarrassment, Stephanie (who I believe to be a manager) stopped me and asked me if she could pay for my groceries. I accepted because I desperately needed those things. And when I got to my card I bawled my eyes out. I just want to thank her again from the bottom of my heart. We had a great thanksgiving thanks to her. I hope she sees this post and understands the impact it made. It’s people like her who make times like this bearable.
