Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- TSTC Squires1 day ago2.0Overall, the food itself tasted great. I ordered the Honey BBQ Chicken Strip sandwich meal using the self-service kiosk, and ordering and payment were quick and easy. Unfortunately, everything went downhill after that. Despite being the only customers in the entire restaurant, it took about 15 minutes to get our food. We could hear staff laughing and joking in the back, which might explain the delay. When the order finally came out, both drinks were missing, and the fries were already cold. Given the lack of other customers, the mistakes and wait time just didn’t make sense. It’s disappointing because the food quality was there, but the execution wasn’t. Based on this experience, we’ll likely skip this location in the future.

Just doesn't have a flavor that pops. The food is boring. Its not McDonald's terrible, but thats honestly not saying much. I would say it's basically on par with your average Wendy's. Not impressed with Whataburger. Won't be revisiting the brand anymore. I'll stick to Red Robbin, In-N-Out, Chili's, and BJs for burgers. Overall rank: 5/10
