I’ve been to the DQ a few times since my family moved here a year and a half ago. I want to preface this review with the fact that during my very first time going to this location, the lady was incredibly rude in the drive through (I had a TWO-day-old and a toddler in the car and going inside would have been too difficult. I asked the lady if she could give me ice cream cake options over the intercom. She said, “Why don’t you come in and look for yourself.” I responded, “Can you not just tell me here?” She clearly did not like this response and was rude throughout the rest of the exchange). I still went a few times after since that was one employee and one incident. Fast forward to last night, 10/6/25, around 9:15pm. I ordered the same thing I have been ordering for about 25 years - a Reese’s blizzard. The employee hands me the blizzard. It’s vanilla Icecream with the tiniest little brown specs in it. I told the drive through employee this. He gets someone else to handle the situation, a female employee. I’m assuming she was a manager. I told her that I always order a Reese’s blizzard and I have never had it to where it’s basically vanilla Ice-cream with specs of chocolate. Where was the candy? You can’t even taste the Reese’s. You can’t even see them. It was an absurd low amount of candy. She at first defended how they made this blizzard. I asked if they are cutting back on the amount of Reese’s candy they put in blizzards. She confirmed. She then gave me a refund, no apology or attempt to rectify the situation and was blatantly annoyed throughout the exchange as well. I understand DQ is a business that needs to turn a profit, but there is a point where the business now is delivering an exceptionally low-quality product that I’m amazed more people haven’t written reviews on this or this place isn’t dishing out refunds right and left. I am very reasonable and I don’t expect DQ (or any business) to go wild with the expensive ingredients, but I do expect SOME chunks of Reese’s in a Reese’s blizzard. Anyway, promptly drove to Sonic right after all of this. I ordered a Reese’s Blast. I received a very reasonable Reese’s-to-ice-cream ratio. I will now end my 25-year-long DQ relationship and am going to Sonic for my Reese’s Blast/Blizzards from now on.

The lady working here was really rude to my mom for no reason. It made us both uncomfortable. Definitely not the kind of service we expected from Dairy Queen.

Order was messed up, which is no big deal. I drove back around to get it fixed and had the rudest female worker ever who argued with me about the order and was so hateful. Really disappointing experience.

I went to order a New York cheesecake blizzard for my wife through the drive thru and got told ok with a stern voice and then the price. I pulled up to the first window for a decent gentlemen with curly hair to ask me if I ordered a royal New York cheesecake blizzard and my other one, I said no I ordered a New York cheesecake. I worked at Dairy Queen when I was younger so I know what the difference is between a royal and regular blizzard. My wife hates the filling that the royal one has. This blonde lady proceeds to speak over me when I said no I ordered a regular and gave me attitude telling me that’s what a New York cheese cake is, a royal version of the cheese cake. Then plopped the blizzard down so hard that it splattered ice cream on the counter. I told her no. I ordered a New York cheesecake, not a royal. The New York cheesecake has strawberries in it but no filling down the middle. She made a new one but didn’t put strawberries in it and somehow got some sprinkles and other ingredients in it. She proceeded to yell about me to the guy with curly hair till I left. She’s lucky she didn’t put an ingredient in it that my wife is allergic to when I specifically asked for something that she as a worker should know how to make and the difference between the two as well as not yell and give attitude to her customer with the window wide open looking directly at me while I’m in uniform cause I’m active duty down at Little Rock AFB. I wouldn’t recommend this Dairy Queen to anyone because of this scenario. The curly hair guy that worked the window can account for the whole thing. Around 5:10pm October 1st
