  I hadn't been to a McDonald's in years, but I recently took some students to this one during a field trip. I was surprised to discover that they have switched to self-order kiosks - I guess I'm behind the times. I had brought my own lunch, but I ordered a chocolate milk since it seems rude to sit in a restaurant without ordering anything. The place was pretty much a bare room with a number of tables in it - kinda boring, but at least it was clean. There was nobody behind the front counter most of the time. The staff only came out when someone's order was ready. Then a lady would come out, call a number, and then disappear back into the kitchen with the food before anybody had time to get to the counter. The result was more and more people whose orders were ready but couldn't pick them up accumulating around the counter, trying to snag the somebody's attention in the few seconds when someone came out and before they disappeared back into the kitchen (usually unsuccessfully, unless they were really assertive). I waited 20 minutes for my chocolate milk, then joined the crowd at the counter and finally got ahold of somebody and asked about my order. Waited longer, then asked again. Was told to wait. Finally asked them why it was taking so long to get a chocolate milk out of the fridge and hand it to me. Then they finally brought it. Meanwhile, people who had ordered before me and after me were getting their orders, then coming back up to the counter to point out things that were missing. I counted 5 different customers who were missing fries from their orders, and another who was missing a sandwhich, and so on. And door dash delivery people were constantly running in and out, the staff never seemed to want to talk to anyone, never smiled, and spent the minimal amount of time out front. Some of the students also had to wait 30 minutes or more for their orders. In sum, the place looked boring and unfriendly, the staff were glum and unfriendly and spent the minimum time with customers, they did a terrible job with getting orders to their customers, made me wait a ridiculously long time for a simple chocolate milk, and constantly left things out of other people's orders. I almost never go to McDonald's these days so it's no skin off my nose, but I must say that I was not impressed if this is the new direction for the company. Or maybe this particular store just has problems. The chocolate milk was okay, I guess. About what one would expect from a McDonald's.

  McDonald's currently is the embodiment of end stage capitalism and the choice of profit above customer. Sitting in this McDonald's is abysmal. No longer is there front of house staff, anyone to take your order. Nor is there a drink station any longer to refill your drinks. Nay all you may experience is a gray concrete room where it is clear the only ones who matter are the drive-thru and door dash customer. To top it off, it sits across the street from an absolute perfect Chick-fil-a firing on all cylinders all the time, everyday. So as you sit and loath what money has done to a place once filled with joy, you must watch the Chick-fil-a in all its Holy glory. I give this McDonald's 3 stars.

  This is the worst McDonald’s I have ever been to. It takes at a minimum 15 minutes to get HUST FRENCH FRIES. I got there today and before I event listed a single item to order they said “it will be a 20-30 minute wait” with only one other person in line?????? This is McDonald’s???????????
