Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- SSShelby Stephens2 days ago1.0I got off work at 10 pm and decided I was going to get me and my husband a burger. I get up to the ordering speaker and they greet me, I go to start my order and I’m interrupted with “hold on” and I waited for 10 minutes before someone came back to the mic to take my order. I then ordered a sweet and spicy bacon burger for my husband but instead of mustard on it he wanted mayo, it still had mustard, I also got a double meat Jr burger for myself and I asked to add mayo and ketchup on it thinking it would still come with everything on it and just mayo and ketchup added to it, but no I only got mayo and ketchup on my burger. I just don’t recommend going at night or when you really want a good burger 😂

I sat in the drive-thru for 40 minutes only to see the employees hanging out by the back door playing around and smoking instead of moving the line. It’s one thing to be short-staffed, but it’s another to watch the staff completely ignore customers while they’re on a "herbal" break. Save your time and go somewhere else unless you want your Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit served with a side of second-hand smoke and a massive headache. Unacceptable.
