We went to register to place our order, took a little bit for us to know who was the one to give the order to out of three employees standing. No one greeted us. When my husband said he wanted a single with cheese - the lady said “A SINGLE WHAT?!?” The only item on the menu over of 50+ items with “single” in it’s menu name is a Dave’s Single Burger ( flagship burger of the brand). Not a biggie, maybe she was new. Next, the manager loudly told the staff to “not take any more orders through the lobby, tell people the lobby is closed-drive thru only -they will understand because we are short handed “. There was a male cook,three women and the manager. There was just one couple in the restaurant and two cars in the drive - hardly a rush. Then, they were loudly talking about things they were out of like onions, etc. We were shorted a burger so we had to wait for a Door Dash order to finish before we received our’s. That gave me time to see how bad the floor looked behind the counter. The drink dispenser was dirty & my husband said the restroom was nasty. I know it’s fast food but Wendy’s does a standard of cleanliness & professionalism to a point. We sadly will not return to this location. I think we will just stick with the Van Buren location.
