I know as an employee you see lots of people a day, but as a customer I only saw you once... it may not seem like your doing much by smiling and say have a good day, it's little, but it makes a difference. ...and the opposite effect happens, it sticks with you through the day when someone is unnecessarily rude. I smiled and said have a good day and it was reciprocated with two girls in the window just starting at me. Same with the girl at payment window. My boyfriend commented the coffee was really good and we'll have to go back for there for our coffee... No thanks, I'll take mediocre coffee and smile from elsewhere.
