Just a heads up…if you purchased a gift card before Sestina had their own, through their management group “Indigo Road” there will be an awkward exchange where they ask you if you REALLY want to use it since it’s not really valid for Sestina. Even though their logo is printed on the back. We had good service and the food was good, but we would not have come if we hadn’t been gifted to gift card. Overall soured the experience quite a bit & there’s no way to know the gift cards aren’t valid anymore. No info on the website or socials. Ugh. I wanted to leave a 5 star review!

My Wife and I visited Sestina for her birthday. Service and atmosphere were fantastic. The food was a little bland (my personal opinion). One comment was a little off putting by one of the hosts. He made the joke of asking if its your 22nd birthday when he knew it wasn't her 22nd birthday. Common knowledge says that this joke is only appropriate if there is a clear, three decade difference between actual age and joked about age. My Wife turned 32 and she honestly looks 26-27. It was just off putting.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I’d like to because I had a great part of my birthday coming out here. My wife brought me here last night to celebrate my birthday! (Well she told me where to drive and I followed directions lol). We were surprised to see it was in a hotel, but she had heard good things about it and wanted us to try it out. Walking in the atmosphere was super cool and cozy looking. The staff were awesome, from the hostess to both our servers Bradley and Cole. They were all attentive and very friendly, and they all gave great recommendations for what to order. These guys were awesome staff members. Me and the wife got two appetizers, an extra side, and both got pasta dishes. We also both got two alcoholic drinks which were great. The food was amazing, we got bread service and meatballs for our appetizer and it was some of the best bread service and meatballs we’ve had. I got the ravioli to eat. It was pricey at $30, and the portion I got was relatively small which was just a little bit disappointing for a $30 entre. However it was the best ravioli I’ve ever had, and probably will ever have. I’m no food critic, so I’m not professionally evaluating the dish or anything, but man I cannot communicate just how good that ravioli was. Maybe I haven’t had enough professional ravioli, but it was delicious. My wife got the spaghetti Nero for $28, which was spicy and delicious, and her portion was very reasonable. Our side was the sweet potato, which was delicious. The server recommended it so we figured we’d try it out. For desert we got the strawberry mousse. The portion size on it was great, and the flavor was phenomenal. There was plenty for the both of us. All in all it was an awesome experience and I’d recommend it to anyone in the area wanting to try some good tasting pasta dishes. We both came out completely full and then some. I can’t speak on to the steak, as we hadn’t had any of it but I’d trust it’s probably pretty good. I would love to come back and try their brunch out one day. My only other complaint would be the place was freezing cold! I wish we had brought jackets to eat here! Still it did not ruin the experience!

I returned to Sestina for a late hour work dinner after a colleagues office arranged for the meeting. The evening began poorly at the host stand. The maître d', a young woman, was visibly disengaged and dismissive. It was late in the evening and multiple tables were empty. She seated our group at a poorly configured table despite multiple better options. We pointed this out to the person who was seating us. We were walked us back to the front where the maître d' dismissed the request without addressing us directly. When questioned about table availability, she showed little interest in accommodating our needs. We were informed through her staff that the other tables were reserved (they remained empty through our visit). Food was underwhelming and one dish was lukewarm. At this point, I just set it aside. Her demeanor and just the sense of gloom were surprising and not often encountered. I have instructed my company and recommended the group not to rebook future events here. I do not intend to return.

Wow!! What an absolute delight! One of the best meals/experiences I’ve had in Northwest Arkansas. Start to finish, everything met and exceeded expectations. We arrived at 07:28 for a 07:30 reservation on a Sunday. The restaurant was busy, but the hosts sat us immediately. Server took our drink order. They were out of the prosecco that the ladies had their eyes on, and the bartender upgraded them to champagne (they asked if this would be acceptable) and it was very well received. Beer and cocktail arrived next and the server took our appetizer order: Blue Fin Tuna Tartare Bread Service Burrata Little Gem Lettuces Mussels Tuna was absolutely insane. Capers balanced out the protein really nicely and the chips were a great choice to serve it with. I could eat this every day. Bread Service seemed to be focaccia. Perfectly crispy crust, soft inside, and just the right amount of oil (an absolute must if you order the mussels). Burrata was nice. Among everything that was ordered, it stood out the least to me. But the other three in my party devoured it. I did think the beets were perfectly cooked. Little Gem Lettuces surprised me. Herbed buttermilk almost gave a mild blue cheese dressing vibe. Delightful. Mussels were to die for. Texture was amazing, perfectly cooked, nicely spiced, generous portion. Highly recommend adding bread service so you can take more advantage of the stock/sauce (it is served with some bread, but I wouldn’t want to waste a single drop). Meal was nicely timed, sometime between ordering apps, our entrée order was taken. We did the meal family style and the server happy to accommodate. We ordered: Mafaldine Prime Flat Iron + Lobster Tail + Truffle Butter Mashed Potatoes (Yukon Gold Potato) Crispy Artichoke Mac & Cheese (not actually macaroni but I cannot remember what it is listed as on the menu). Mafaldine was very good. Big flavor, nice homemade pasta, very generous with the truffles, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. A touch under seasoned for my taste, but this was not a shared opinion of the table. Prime Flat Iron. I am a firm believer in ordering the ‘cheapest’ steak on the menu when at a steak house on my first visit. In my opinion, a proper steakhouse should be able to make any cut fantastic. Sestina absolutely checked this box. We ordered it ‘as the chef recommends’ and visually appeared medium rare. Delightful with the truffle butter. Lobster Tail truly impressed me. Frequently when served as an add-on with a steak, I’m accustomed to being let down. However this was not the case, flavor and texture left nothing to be desired. I highly recommend this add-on if it is within your budget. Mashed Potatoes were good. Not quite life changing, but certainly did not disappoint. Buttery, flavorful, and went great with everything. Crispy Artichoke. Hands down the best artichoke I’ve ever had. I would order this as an entrée itself. You cannot miss this on the menu. This is a must. To finish, we did the Tiramisu & the Creme Brulee. No notes on the tiramisu. It was exactly what one should expect, had we not been so full we would have cleaned the plate. Crème Brulee was on another level though. Not too sweet, perfectly finished, and there was perhaps a touch of citrus that really made it memorable. I would definitely order both again. Through the course of our meal, the staff and management seemed to genuinely care about our experience. The server (Kerry?) was highly knowledgeable, professional, kind and we would definitely ask for her again. The manager (Karen?) sent us out the Little Gem Lettuces + the Mac and Cheese thing, and I’m definitely glad she did. They were both certainly highlights for me. Chef Matt also took the time to check in on our table. That was a very nice gesture and I think it’s rare to see a chef on the floor (following up on our steak + lobster order). (Full review won't fit, so I'll add it as a photo)
