Refused to serve my wife for her first meal out of the hospital after delivering our newborn.
This is our favorite sushi place in NWA and had been her one wish for food once she had the kiddo and was discharged. Her doctor and the nurses all OK’d this.
When I called to place the takeout order and explained the occasion, the employee on the phone said she could take the order but needed to first check with the manager to ensure that my wife leaving the hospital wasn’t an issue. She came back on and had an unrelated reason they could no longer accommodate us.
Unfortunate.

We have been to Junto several times since they have opened. It is always amazing and our servers have all been just the best. Last night Dillon was our waitress. She went above and beyond to take care of us. The sushi was taking a little extra time to come out because they were so busy and she had a hot dish appetizer brought to our table for our wait. She was truly the sweetest and we really appreciated how attentive she was. We can’t wait to go back again soon.

We ordered several items on the menu with a few stand-outs and a couple of disappointments. Our server was cordial and quite knowledgeable, offering expert advice about the menu. We made a reservation for four, which somehow became a reservation for three. As such, we were seated at a very small table - not enough room for our order. However, our waitress was fairly attentive about removing plates. The ambiance features a dark dining room with music just a bit too loud. I would eat at Junto again, perhaps at lunch.

This was the most fantastic, delicious, amazing sushi and meal I have ever had, and our server Alyssa made the experience even more special and memorable for us!! My boyfriend and I were visiting Fayetteville from out of state and were recommended to come to Junto by a Fayetteville local. I am so glad we did! I am a sushi & seafood lover, and the sushi was beyond incredible, especially the signature nigiri (WOW) !!! I had miso soup, ginger salad, the black magic hakozushi roll, and tried 3 signature nigiris - the foie sake toro, the creme de la creme, and the hamachi toro aburi!!! 😍😍😍 Everything was amazinggggg! As a certified wasabi & pickle lover, the fresh wasabi and pickled wasabi stem is to die for and is a must!!!
My boyfriend had the miso soup and the spicy tuna makimono + spider makimono rolls (I tried both and they were SOOOO good!) The spider roll was my boyfriend’s favorite out of everything, and we both loved our miso soup - so fresh and flavorful! We split the mochurros for dessert, and the chili chocolate sauce was toooo good. I loved both of the cocktails I tried - The Shochu What I Mean and the Will Ube Mine - , and my boyfriend loved the Japanese beer he tried.
Thank you so much Alyssa and Junto for making our meal and our trip so special!!! The next time we are in the area, we will definitely be back! I am planning to apply to grad school at the University of Arkansas for next year, so fingers crossed I will be able to become a Junto regular and eat more nigiri!! 🤞🍣

Really mixed feelings on this one. I really liked the food. My husband thought it was only okay. It felt incredibly overpriced for what it is. I would have loved it at about half the price. We have spend the same amount on sushi many places before ($250 before tip) and been blown away, but were not here. The atmosphere is nice. The table side lemons for your water is a nice touch. Our server was so nice and helpful when he was at the table. He just didn’t come by the table often enough. We were often left waiting for him for the next step in the meal. I also think it’s weird to ask if we are there for a special occasion (my birthday) but then not get a free dessert or anything. Why bother asking?
