I just burst out laughing and asked could I get a real cup. I was told these are our new water cups. I would've paid for a cup but wasn't asked or offered. If it's that serious, why not make the ice water behind the counter if there is a concern about ppl stealing? This is comical and sad on the corporate end if this is a solution to theft. I asked if there was a top for the cup. Nope. And no I don't drink that hard dasani water so that's not an option. Five guys, that's crazy for the amount of money ppl spend in your establishments. Come with better solutions.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
