  Mrs. K. said, "I want coffee and not from a chain." Asking the Yelp guides for help, we popped into downtown Opelika on Saturday morning and entered the Market Street Coffee Shop. Oh, no problem with the street parking right out front. A warm and local spot, Mrs. K. said that here latte was excellent. My cortado was similarly fabulous. Simply great coffee and a light blueberry muffin with crystals of sugar on top that was very enjoyable. There is lots of room here and plenty of comfy seating. If we weren't heading onwards today, I can see myself sitting here for a couple of hours with the laptop.

  Got their pumpkin chai gingerbread latte today. It's the best I've had in the 4 years I've live in Auburn/Opelika. Oh my goodness.
