Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers frequently reported slow service, both in the drive-thru and inside the restaurant, with long wait times for orders.
Food Quality
While many customers praised the food for being hot and fresh, there were complaints about incorrect orders and food not being served at the right temperature.
Customer Service
Feedback on staff friendliness was mixed; some employees were noted for their excellent service, while others were described as rude or unhelpful.
Cleanliness
The establishment was generally reported as clean, but there were instances of unsanitary conditions and issues with trash in the parking lot.

Went to the drive thru. Ordered the classic burgers and chocolate Malts. We were handed vanilla malts and when I questioned it I was told "they're just light". No it was vanilla when I tasted it. I went inside and front counter agreed and remade chocolate ones that were a little light but deffinately made better. Feels like whataburger outside of Texas is never quite right. The burger was good but they're better in Texas. But I live in Indiana so I'll try any of them.

I frequent this location A LOT. 😭 And I usually like the people serving but my goodness! If you go during breakfast and get a hamburger, expect to wait--cool, I get it. I won't hold you, the burgers are bussingggg. BUT, hear the outcry of my soul please.."IF I gotta wait on the beef, my fries should be fresh out the GREASEE" Fresh I said!! My fries be tasting refried or just warm. Breakfast is usually hitting.🥹But about 65% of the time I order, something is wrong or missing and I have to come back because I go on work, during my break 😭. Know y'all tired of seeing my name in that book, turnmeloose! Love y'all though 😂

We ordered a breakfast bowl. And the biscuit was hard and old. The gravy was almost nonexistent. Had a little dot of it. We waited 20 minutes for this little dried up bowl of “stuff “. Half of it’s going in the garbage tried to eat some of it. The taquito was dry And not any good. I had to eat it so I could take my pills. I would not recommend this Whataburger anymore. It used to be good. Used to be hot. Used to be fresh. No longer. Don’t bother you’ll waste your money. When we asked for a receipt, she said there wasn’t any receipt paper for whatever reason I don’t know. But we asked twice and didn’t get one. We really would like our money back. This was an edible stuff. I did eat the taquito had to. People that are reading this don’t bother you will not be happy.

Went through the drive thru and told them that I wanted our food dropped fresh. When we got the food I looked at the order to see if we had everything but didn’t look at the food on the car closely with it being dark. When we got home, the food was burnt and fries were limp and soggy. When I called the store location, I told them I don’t appreciate them not cooking my food fresh, that it was burnt and dry. The lady told me she watched them drop it fresh and I wanted a recook. I told her I was not coming back up there don’t appreciate them not cooking the food fresh instead of dropping old food in the grease to get it hot again.
