Even with half the restaurant empty it was a 20 mins wait at lunch. Needless to say we did not wait. We found somewhere with instant service available.

Disappointed on Veteran’s Day — Hoping for Better Treatment for Those Who Served
Today is Veteran’s Day, and as a proud veteran, I was excited to visit Outback Steakhouse to enjoy their generous offer of a free three-course meal. Outback has always been one of my favorite restaurants, and I was looking forward to celebrating the day with my sister, who is also a veteran.
Unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing. When we arrived, we were told there was about an hour and a half wait — a “three-page wait,” to be exact. That was fine; we completely understood that it would be busy today and were happy to wait. I provided my name and phone number and patiently waited.
After an hour, I called to check on our status and was told that they had texted me, but since I hadn’t responded within 10 minutes, they moved on to the next guests. I explained that I never received a text message and even offered to show proof, but the staff member simply said, “Unfortunately, we went on,” with no effort to accommodate us or make things right.
As a veteran, I didn’t expect special treatment — just basic respect and fairness. It was disappointing that on a day meant to honor those who served, we were dismissed so easily after waiting so long.
I’m sharing this not out of anger, but in hopes that Outback and others reading this will take it as a reminder: sometimes, the smallest gestures of care and understanding can mean the most. Veterans deserve to feel appreciated, not forgotten in the crowd.

Wanted to try something different went around 5pm was not to crowded. Fast service they serve rye bread and butter before meal and were out of the ribs and the menu didn't allow two sides to come with pasta. I picked out mozzarella sticks and spanich dip for appetizer. I decided on Shrimp on a Barbie with French loaded mashed potatoes & ceasar salad. Ribeye with Loaded baked potato, steak mac-cheese and french onion dip. Spent around $120w/tip would still give it a try if you never experienced it before.

The food was not as good as the competition in the area, but it was good. However, the service at this location was not. The staff seemed to be in complete disarray. Our food took over an hour and 20 minutes to reach the table. The next table over got the wrong food after a long wait and opted to leave.

Soooooo…. Please read this review. I only sat at the bar. Had most of my interactions with the very nice bartender (Toby). He made a hell of a martini and I had bread. My whole review is based on being left alone to listen to my audio book and well made drinks! Thanks Tony!
