It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Also both times I went my food was completely wrong. Needless to say they need some help. I won’t be back for some time. I’d rather go somewhere efficient and that knows how to get people their correct food and in a timely manner.

I appreciate the fact that the management team asked for an honest review even though you can tell their day was falling apart. I waited almost a week to write this to take my emotions out of this post. I feel that this is a new place with a fresh team. As customers I think we feel we deserve a high level of quality and customer service. With that being said as customers we don't know what's going on behind the scenes. I do feel like the management team really wanted to do a good job, but may need some coaching on how to be leaders themself. Our food took over 35mins to be brought out to us. While we were waiting the manager was yelling at the employee to fill the napkins, make more tea, bring a tray out to the people with the condiments on them. I feel like she should have pulled this young man aside and told him those things. It was very demoralizing to do it in front of a room full of strangers. Another lady (Customer) got up and apologized to the young man for his supervision talking to him that way. You could see everyone's eyes that they also thought this is not necessary. So please push your team for quality and accountability, but do it with some tact.
