  Went to celebrate a birthday. Food and service was excellent. But as we were eating desert a decent sized cockroach was crawling on the back of the booth right behind my sister. We killed it my brother went up to the bar and discretely told the manager. The roach was still there behind the booth inside the napkin we killed in. Manager just said thanks for letting us know. Didn’t even come by the table to apologize. Won’t be going back to outback

  jay was a fantastic server!! he was very attentive & made sure we had everything we needed without even needing to ask. the food was delicious as always, they really just keep improving every time i go. you guys are awesome.

  We came here on Sunday night, there were very few people here, and yet the service was insanely slow, it took forever to get our food. Our waiter was quite frankly annoying, he was so chatty with us and the surrounding tables, going on and on about the disfunction in the kitchen. It was quite off putting and unprofessional. They also were out of all sorts of things. I've never had these kind of issues at the other Outbacks in Madison county, so this will be the last time I go to this one. Its a great location, but its safe to say it won't make it long term with these kinds of waits and unprofessional staff.

  Outback is typically a great place. On this particular night it seemed disorganized and took over an hour to get food. Beer taps were not working. Some customers were just leaving after a while of not getting their food.

  Tonight I had the absolute displeasure of trying Outback. We arrived around 7:20pm to a restaurant that was far from busy—yet somehow still a mess. The hostess stand was empty, and all the hostesses were sitting in a booth in the back right corner. Weird choice considering the front of the house looked like a disaster. Trash on the floor, dirty surfaces… and of course the first thing I thought was, “If this is what the front looks like, I don’t even want to imagine the kitchen.” We were seated and greeted by our server. Drinks came out fine, and we ordered our food shortly after. While we waited—easily 10–15 minutes—the table behind us placed their order. Around the same time, another table was seated. By the time we’d been waiting close to 30 minutes with no food, both of those tables (who ordered well after we did) had already gotten theirs. Our food didn’t show up for almost 50 minutes. And when it finally did, my “medium” filet somehow ranged from nearly raw on one side to well-done on the other. Impressive in the worst way possible. At that point, I was ready to leave. I went up front and asked for a manager. After waiting nearly 10 minutes, a guy walks up and just… stands there. No “Hello,” no “I’m the manager,” no “How can I help?” Just awkward silence. I finally had to ask if he was the manager—he said yes. I explained the situation, and his response was, “Well, there’s nothing else we can do for you here.” Fantastic hospitality, right? 😂 He didn’t offer to remake the food. Didn’t apologize. Didn’t attempt to fix anything. Couldn’t even explain the ridiculous wait time. Our server actually stepped up more than he did—she admitted the kitchen was messing up orders and confirmed we had waited a very long time. If that guy was the GM, God help that location. If he wasn’t, he absolutely shouldn’t be left in charge of speaking to guests. I haven’t been to Outback in years, and after tonight, they’ve solidified exactly why. I won’t be trying it again anytime soon.
