We live in Arab and happened to be in the area for a Dr. appointment and decided to have lunch. I found this place on Google and liked their menu options so we decided to try it. My husband chose spicy fried cauliflower for an appetizer and at first I was a little disappointed that he didn't chose the fried green tomatoes but, after I tried it my disappointment melted away they were that good. My husband also got the blackened grouper with sweet potato fries and oh my word those sweet potato fries were the best we've ever had. I got the chicken with the hot peach sauce but, don't let the word hot scare you, it's not spicy hot it was just a warm peach sauce with peaches and pecans on top of the chicken. Both dishes came with a big warm yeast roll that would melt in your mouth. We will definitely be making the drive to try something new next time. If I can convince my brain not to pick the chicken again. It was sooo good.

Just tried the breakfast casserole and it was really good! Just a hint of sweetness was perfect.

My wife and I have enjoyed Main Street Cafe for many years however, realized it has been quite a while since we have been there. We stopped by today for a late lunch / early dinner and had a wonderful time. The food was top notch, and Betty took great care of us. We would also like to thank Tammy and John Hall for the special voucher offer this week to launch their extended hours and menu. Well done!!! We will be back for certain.

Hubby had the Cheesy Meatloaf. I had the Georgia Chicken. Both dishes were served bordering on cold. The hot peach sauce was anything but hot. The food tasted very good and had it been served hot, would have given it 5 stars. The place was busy and loud.
