I placed an order for TWO sandwiches a week ago. I called the store to let them know I'd gotten hung up at another store and I'd be 1-2 minutes late. I was then told they didn't have enough bread for my 2 sandwich order. Fine. It wasn't that far off from closing but some kind of heads up would have been phenomenal. However, the next day, they charge still shows . I reach out to the store, manager tells me yeah I don't know why but the charge goes through instantly so it takes a few days for it to go back. If the charge is still there on Friday, which was 3 days from the day we talked, DEFINITELY give me a call back and I'll get it back to you. Friday came, charge remained. I called the store. That manager wasn't even working. Another manager stated the original manager I'd spoken to (Joe) requested I send him a screenshot of the charge, which I immediately did. Again, this was Friday. It is now Monday and not only is the charge still present and cleared, I've yet to hear back from anyone. On Sunday, I got tired of my $60 being tied up, so I reached out to corporate. Their response? No apologies. No "Let me help you with that." It was "You filled out the wrong form. You need to fill out *this* form." I had in fact already completed that form, which went to the local store. Again, this has been a WEEK. I did not request cancelation. The store did not have 2 pieces of bread to complete my order. Why am I having to go above and beyond just to get my refund? Respectfully, this is these people's job. They get paid to research and investigate the issue. Instead, I'm spending my time to fight tooth and nail just to get a refund for something I never got. I was a huge lover of Jimmy John's before this. But I will NEVER be a patron of this location EVER again. I'm disappointed in their lack of urgency. Maybe they have $60 to throw away, but personally I don't.
