Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers praised the staff for their friendliness and helpfulness, with specific mentions of employees like Richard, Ashia, and Jaeden providing exceptional service.

I usually don’t do reviews but Asia and Addy got me today. Their customer service was top tier. They gave me big beautiful smiles. And sounded like they wanted to be at work. Honey i love it. Teach these other fast food joints this same energy. Keep it up girls.

The manager Danny, Shift supervisor Addison, and Operating Partner Richard made my experience great! I had my food within minutes, and it was fresh and hot. The 3 of them gave my friends and I great hospitality while on a trip here in Huntsville. Will definitely come back!

Great service, and great food! Came with a large group while at a convention with the Von Braun, and even though there were a lot of people crowding the restaurant and ordering all at once, the workers went above and beyond in their service and were very friendly. The food came out fast without any problems. 5/5, would eat there again.

I am sharing this for the young lady that was in front of me. I could hear her ordering her food she had to tell the order taker 3-4 times what she wanted because the order taker was just not paying anyone any attention. The lady repeated her order back to make sure she had gotten everything and the order taker said “pull forward.” Obviously like any normal person would do when you receive this service asked for the order to be repeated back to her once she got to the window they had only put in 2 of her three items she asked if she could add it on at the window since it was their fault and the manger (Richard) very rudely I might add started screaming at this poor girl “no I have over 1000 sitting in my drive thru you will have to come in.” She approached him calmly when asking I had my window down so I could hear. If I was in her shoes I would’ve done the same thing she did. Yell back at him. He kept yelling and yelling at her. He was very unprofessional towards her. She got pulled up so they could bring her food to her. She pulled in the parking lot across from the restaurant Richard approached her with her food ( I pulled up beside her after I received my food making sure she was okay & she asked me to stay out there with her once she saw it was him bringing the food she was terrified.) she calmly told him “ I am not trying to be rude but I just want to know why y’all could not make my burrito when I triple checked with your order-taker to see if she had my meal right.” He continued to yell at her stating “I’m not going to miss out on $1000 sitting in my drive thru to make your damn burrito.” She had told me she had her baby in the car he kept yelling at her to get out and come in. She had told him that she worked in fast food as well and she understands the frustration that can come with the job he said(while screaming at her) well then you know we don’t yell at customers, and then asked her ohone would you feel if someone came through your drive thru talking the way you did.” She was not rude until he was but she replied to him “ once we take a role into fast food that is sometimes what comes with the job, but we as employees make a promise not only to the company but to ourselves & everyone inside the store that we will and can be the best and will try our best to accommodate them because you’re really looking for them.” He started telling something that neither one of us could make out & flipped her off. I get it everyone has bad days we are only human but he took all that stress from his whole 2025 year and laid it on this girl. So tonight Richard was very rude and unprofessional. I hope his higher ups will see this and confront him about how he speaks to people. This was not customer service I would want to receive anywhere. #dontbearichard

Stopped by the drive-thru to grab a quick late night bite, and was met with spectacular service and care from T. Even though I’m not the clearest speaker, they were extremely patient and kind as we got my order set up. Food came out quick, hot, and delicious. Couldn’t ask for a better experience from WB, thanks T!
