Our burgers were overcooked and burnt, and the meat had a funny smell. We believe they must have had a batch of spoiled ground beef, so they were told to overcook the burgers. When we got home, our coats and clothes stunk of grease! Not a good night at this 5 Guys.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
