  Kayla was our server tonight and she was almost as amazing as our dinner.. We started with the delicious fried mushrooms.. followed with a sweet sangria.. and to end with an 8oz perfectly cooked steak with the best grilled shrimp I’ve ever ever had.. I’m leaving happy with a full tummy and barely a dent in my pocket book!

  Sooo disappointed. I'd heard great things in the past so was hyped to go just to find out that apparently it was only disappointment waiting past the entrance. I really hope that they are honest with themselves and make the changes necessary to get back to what made them what they must have been in the past.

  Service can only be described in one word: Poor. I gave this place one star only because there wasn’t an option for half a star. The wait time was over 30 minutes, and despite there being four hosts, the seating process was extremely disorganized—confused is an understatement.Kudos to Jaylin he was very good with taking our order and delivering our food. He kept us informed on the time the food would come out. Which was very long. I will not recommend this place or return. I will also be sharing my experience with others. If you’re considering dining out, I suggest you drive past this place.

  Saltgrass in Birmingham absolutely exceeded my expectations! From the moment we walked in, everything felt welcoming, well-run, and genuinely enjoyable. The food was outstanding, perfectly cooked steaks, fresh salads, and huge desserts. Kendall went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. You can tell they truly care about both the customers and the team. They checked in at just the right moments, made us feel valued, and handled the restaurant with a level of professionalism and warmth that’s rare to find. Service was smooth, the atmosphere was great, and the entire experience felt top-notch. If you’re in Birmingham and want a great place to unwind with friends, Saltgrass is the place to go.

  Had to come to Alabama decided to stop and get dinner there, when you see that a restaurant doesn’t have at least one negative review follow your instincts, place was clean, seated immediately, ordered taken, after waiting forever for cheese burger and fries, the burger was charcoal black could eat them, sent them back and waited again and this time my grandsons was partially cooked and minds was cooked on the outside only, inside was blood red. Didn’t want to wait any longer I just left. I will never patronize this place again. By the way the people at the table next to us had to send their food back also.
