This was my first time coming to Cava’s today and I loved it. I love the atmosphere as soon as I came in I saw smiles and I saw a lot of people from church. Visit Cava today and the food was excellent. The staff was constantly putting out fresh food and the guy Mr. Larry was very knowledgeable of the food table and help me decide on getting the right bowl. Thank you He was very professional and answered all my questions. If you are in desire for a good healthy lunch or dinner, go to Cava Hoover The food is worth every cent and the staff is very friendly. This is a place I will keep going to enjoy the customer service and Quality of the good food

My order (ordered online) was gone when I arrived to pickup this evening. After waiting extremely patiently for over 40 minutes and seeing other customers (several who’s arrived after me) receive their orders, I asked CAVA staff where is my order. They told me they’d made it and someone must’ve taken it. I asked (incredulously): “ someone stole my order,” and staff said: “it happens all the time.” This is not acceptable. Cava must figure out another way to manage pickups because evidently the “honor system” is not working in Hoover, AL!

The service here is slow and inconsiderate of to-go orders. I had two employees lie to me about my order while I stood there for more than thirty minutes and never received my food. One girl said it would be 7 minutes after I got there. She made food for herself and left. Fifteen minutes later, I asked another girl, and she said she was about to start working on it. She went straight back to serving people who were walking through the door. After thirty minutes, I left without my food. I stood there and watched about 15-20 people walk through the door and be served while no one worked on my to-go order (placed before I arrived). No one checks on people standing by the to-go counter. If you place a to-go order here, be prepared to wait for it while every person who walks through the door is served first. To-go orders are their last priority.

I’ll say the food is beyond amazing! I’ve only been here twice. I went yesterday and the cashier wasn’t the friendly. Seemed very irritated being that I wasn’t familiar with lots of things and had questions. When people are new to an establishment, it’s nothing wrong with being friendly and explaining how pricing works or what comes with the meal. It’s definitely not a great feeling to feel intimidated in front of others while trying to only get an understanding. I really hope her attitude is better when I decide to eat there again. But food was amazing. Very fresh, very flavorful. I created my own bowl and I did an amazing job. But I’ll say when working with the public you have to learn how to communicate with people without being so snappy and rude. She was young i understand but still, there is a way to speak to people. Customer service means everything.
