Stopped in for dinner on a Saturday night. It can be tough to find a parking spot and had to circle around the block a couple of times until a spot opened up. The host said it would be a 30 minute wait and we got notified our table was ready at 27 minutes. We ordered the chicken Parmesan, Alfredo with filet medallions, and kids pizza. The server was prompt with taking our order and brought out salad and breadsticks quickly after we placed our order. The salad was fresh and we enjoyed the dressing. The breadsticks were very hot and tasty. Unfortunately the entrees were not as good. The marina sauce on the chicken parm was too sweet for me, although the chicken cutlet was done well and I enjoyed it. The filet medallions on the Alfredo were rather bland and under seasoned. Both pastas were cooked al dente and had a good consistency though. I would visit again, maybe when the wait times are less, but would want to try something else on the menu.

My boyfriend and I went to eat here for Valentine’s Day, we have heard raving reviews and stories about this restaurant for years. We were both so excited to go here for our first time and try the delicious food we had heard about. When we arrived, we were sat within 5 minutes. However, we were put in the back of the restaurant next to the back door at a table meant for 6 people. We thought it was odd but shrugged it off as it being the only table available on a busy night. We then sat at the back table for about 15 minutes before any waiter even looked our direction. When she finally came to our table, she sat down two napkins and said “Hey I’m Kim, I’ll be your server. I’ll grab you two waters and be back to take your order.” and left. After another 10 minutes, she returned with waters and asked what we wanted to eat. I ordered a bottle of wine for us and my boyfriend requested that we order Calamari and Gumbo. She said alright and we waited for our appetizers. They came out fairly fast and the Calamari was great! The gumbo, however, tasted bland and watery. We placed our food orders, I ordered the Shrimp Angeline (basically shrimp Alfredo with angel hair pasta) and my boyfriend got the Pesce Verona. My boyfriend’s water was empty at this point as well as we had been there for about 45 minutes. Our entrees came out also fairly quickly but you could tell why… mine was a giant plate of pasta with a spoonful of Alfredo sauce and 8 Shrimps. His was a watery plate of fish covered in 3 watery shrimp and mushrooms. We both were shocked at how terrible our plates looked but we were even more shocked when it tasted just as bland. It was so disappointing. Our server never came back to ask if we wanted more water or if we needed anything with our meals. Instead, she gave us about 20 minutes and walked past our table saying “I’ll bring your check and boxes.” Meanwhile, we watched her package other tables togo boxes and ask for what they needed. She brought our togo boxes to our table and dropped them on the table with our check, $117 for bland pasta and fish and a bottle of wine. Needless to say, we were extremely disappointed. We will not be back.
