Did Curbside takeout and Jamaine was the most outstanding, professional and courteous catering manager I have ever encountered. He went above and beyond to assist me and my mother. Thank you Outback for exceptional food, service.!!!

Same as it has been which is above average. Not that noisy. Pricing was good. A little cheaper than othee steak houses that have a subpar steak compared to this.

Waited a while to be sat in the first place. Then Items unavailable, fried foods tasted burnt (blooming onion, mushrooms) waited around 90 minutes for entrees that were not fresh shrimp cold, steak lukewarm at best, sides cold. We let the waitress know and they did nothing to compensate for it. Manager never came to talk to us. After mentioning something about our cold food we were then ignored. I understand sometime you get busier than expected and i wouldnt mind waiting had the food come out hot and fresh. I am very displeased as this is not our first bad experience at this location. I will not be returning nor recommending this location to anyone.

Baked potato hard. Waitress nice but forgot Xtra salad dressing til meal almost finished. Had major drink spill, young men acted like they didn't know how to clean it up, took em forever and don't think they knew how to use a mop. Tempted to go show them. It was ridiculous, and right beside booth full of people with kids.

⭐ 2 out of 5 stars Outback steakHouse Dothan, AL We came in for my birthday dinner with a party of about 11 around 4 PM. Our server, Tylon, was very kind at first but seemed overwhelmed. He appeared to be handling multiple tables and booths on his own, which made service quite slow and inattentive. He had our party of 11 and about 4 more tables! Everyone ran out of water at one point, and I had to ask for refills. One of my friends ordered gluten-free, (has Celiac disease-can not have any gluten) but his steak was served with macaroni and cheese touching it, and his side was mixed up with another person’s order. He had to send it back. I originally ordered prime rib steak but was told it was sold out at 4pm… so I ordered a ribeye steak medium rare, but it came out medium well and was quite tough—almost like a NY strip. I normally don’t like sending food back, but it was too tough to eat. Thankfully, they replaced it with a new ribeye and sides, and that steak was much better. Throughout the whole service, our drinks were empty. Two guests ordered desserts, but it seemed the order was forgotten. After a long wait, we just asked to have the desserts boxed to go. We also waited quite a while for the birthday cake we brought in. When it finally came out and the team sang happy birthday, we didn’t receive plates or forks to serve it, so we just took it home instead. We didnt want to bother anyone at this point and we were just ready to leave. As a former server, I always made sure to bring side plates and utensils in situations like that—it’s a small detail that makes a big difference. And also to send a manager immediately to fix the issues. Instead the floor manager came way after the bill was paid. Toward the end, my husband expressed frustration and mentioned leaving a 1-star review. Unfortunately, Tylon replied with “Go ahead!” which was disappointing. I understand he was under a lot of pressure due to him handling table more than he could handle but a simple apology would have gone a long way. The floor manager did come by afterward to apologize and offered everyone a free Bloomin’ Onion coupon, which we appreciated. Still, this was the first poor experience we’ve had at this Outback location, and I hope the restaurant can better staff their team to avoid this kind of situation in the future.
