My wife and went to Whataburger on Beltline rd in Decatur AL on Feb 17th, 2026 around 6:30pm for dine in. There was a guy in front that got obviously frustrated about no one taking his order and he walked out. My wife and I waited about 10 min and employees walked past without a word. Others in the back looked at us and said nothing. No one and I mean NO ONE acknowledged our existence. There was ONE couple inside eating. Not busy at all. We finally left. This was a PATHETIC lack of service by any measure. I'm a native Texan and couldn't wait for this store to open. Now, I have zero desire to ever set foot in it again.

Jay the window worker is absolutely horrible customer service. I didn’t even finish my order because I was constantly cut off with an increasingly exacerbated “ anything else “. Then when I let them know of a bad echo that was coming from the machine I was looked at like I was the problem. Then ignored and rudely handed my food. As of this moment I won’t be back and I’ll be sure to let my friends , family, and colleagues know of the horrible service at this particular whataburger especially from jay
