After having traveled the world and eaten McDonald’s sandwiches everywhere from Delhi, India to Hong Kong, Seoul Korea, and countless McDonald’s in Europe, South America and the US I can confirm that this McDonald’s in Decatur, Alabama to be the absolute WORST in terms of service, quality and cleanliness. The soft drinks were actually dispensed using HOT water, no bubbles and very little syrup. The ice machine didn’t work. At the counter the manager informed me that the machine was acting up again. I had to ask them to pour my wife and I drinks from the service counter. They literally took 10 minutes to do this even though there were only two customers in the store. The drive through was busy, which, given the poor quality is inexplicable. My meal (a Quarter Pounder Delux) although well constructed, was cold. The French Fries, similarly cold. My wife’s chicken wraps? Also cold and therefore tasteless. I only ordered the quarter pounder as the restaurant was sold out of Big Macs! How on earth can a McDonald’s be sold out of big Mac’s?! The service was sullen and rude. Bravo McDonald’s! Special recognition for being the worst in the world!!
