Closed down because they didn't manage their quality or employees. Customer service went to hell. Food quality went to hell. Site fell apart.

Sonic remains the best option for fast food in most communities. Sonic is more than a drive-in; it’s a customizable laboratory of snacks and sodas. While the burgers are solid, the true "Sonic experience" lives in the drink menu and the fryer. Here is a review of the current heavy hitters: * Cherry Limeade: This is the undisputed king of the menu. It’s a masterclass in balance—tart, sweet, and fizzy. In 2026, it remains the gold standard for refreshment, especially if you order it during "Happy Hour" via the app. The real wedge of lime squeezed into the cup provides a fresh citrus hit that prevents the cherry syrup from becoming cloying. * Strawberry Cream Slush: This is the smarter, more sophisticated cousin of the standard slushy. By blending the signature icy slush with soft serve, Sonic creates a texture similar to a "frosted lemonade." The Strawberry Horchata Cream Slush is a standout this year; the subtle warmth of cinnamon layered with real strawberry pieces makes it feel much more premium than your average fast-food drink. * Peanut Butter Shakes: If you are a fan of Reese’s or general peanut-butter-heavy desserts, this is a "flavor bomb." Made with real peanut butter and thick vanilla soft serve, these shakes are incredibly dense—you’ll definitely need a spoon for the first ten minutes. It’s a high-calorie commitment, but for pure indulgence, it’s hard to beat. * Tater Tots: While most places treat tots as an afterthought, at Sonic, they are the main event. They are consistently "double-fried" in style—shatteringly crunchy on the exterior with a hot, fluffy center. They hold up much better during a drive home than standard French fries, and they are the perfect vessel for a side of ranch or zesty cheese sauce. You can add "blasts" or flavors to almost anything. Ordering ahead is the only way to go to skip the stalls and get the best pricing. Overall Rating: 4/5 & 9/10 (For Snacks & Drinks) Sonic remains the best chain in the country for a "treat yourself" afternoon run. Whether you want a refreshing limeade or a yummy peanut butter shake, they have the variety to hit any craving.

You’re 10, mom works at a shelter, and a kennel aggressive english Shepard is brought in from an abusive home. Over the course of a week your mom becomes the only person able to feed her. They form a mutual bond, she’s aggressive to everyone else, but mom understands her! We’ll foster until she’s used to people. You’ve got this dog! The foster fails (luckily). She’s a good dog, even if she grabs food off tables when you aren’t looking. She’s missing a back leg so she does this thing where when you pet her ear just right she pulls her mouth back into a smile. She lets you bathe her, put a bandana around her neck, sleeps in your bed. From an apartment, to house, to forever home. You’ve got this dog. This funny, stinky, loud dog. Your mom gets pregnant! This dog lets the babies pull on her ears, squish her face, pull her tail. She’ll lay down in the middle of a walk when she’s tired so you’ll have to carry all 43 pounds home. She’s got a habit of whining, her ears always perk up when you walk into the house, she whines you a daily song. After making a family of 6, in your forever house, you’ve got this stinky (even after a bath) little loud little fat three legged dog. What a dog! After 11 long years her hair is gray, eyes aren’t as good, loves a good sun bask. One day a vet visit turns into “she’s got a tumor.” You work full time, already in debt, student loans won’t let your parents get another credit card. But you’ve got this dog. Even if it’ll only get you a few more months, no matter the money, you’re gonna get her taken care of. New card application approved. Those babies are kids, mom mainly spends time at home, her husband works because he loves his family, loves this dog. You schedule the surgery, barely slept. You hold her in the car while all the kids tell her, “We’ll have you home later!” (Your mom saw a pet psychic say they like to be told what’s going on.) She’s nervous but everything is gonna be okay, you’ve got this dog. Mom keeps letting her know you’re coming back to get her. She might assume she’s back at the shelter, she needs her to know we wouldn’t leave her. You get a call. The doc says her tumor has grown significantly within this last week. It’s only a matter of time. You check the kids out from school, hold them while you explain how… well, you’ve got this dog. Dad has on his good jeans, hair slicked back, black shirt and dress shoes. You’ve got this dog. The people’s eyes behind the vet’s desk are saying “I’m sorry” before their mouths can. Everyone knows, you’ve got this dog. They bring you into a private room. You sign paperwork. You’ve got this dog. After a lot of love, a lot of pettin, a lot of crying, the kids wait in the car with dad. Back to base one. You, your mom, and this funny stinky fat little three legged dog. You stay till the end. You leave. You’re missing a dog. Your mom can’t cook so dad orders food. You’re in the negatives but who cares, sonic for dessert. You put together a cart, borrow more money, head out. When you arrive the app keeps telling you that you’re .3 miles away?? You’re in a stall! Close app. Restart. Same issue. Location off. Can’t check in without location. Repeat, repeat… Finally it lets you check in. Workers apologize, the headset is broken, but they’ll have it ready in a minute. Everything is accounted for! Huzzah! You get home. All 3 ice creams…. toppings are stuck in the bottom, somehow all that’s blended is vanilla??? 50% air bubble, the spoon is too flimsy to stir?? Added toppings that are nearly a dollar a piece, there’s only oreo! You stir it, settles.. $7+ for the medium.. pretty much a mini size in a tall cup. Maybe I can go back for replacements? The mess up totals $20. The call rings… And rings… fax machine beep, hang up. Maybe I can get a refund through customer service since it’s online! 15 minutes, plus a polite representative later, she tells me they’ll reach out. I sob and eat my whisper worth of ice cream. With the prices of this stuff y’all gotta do better! The staff was really sweet but the quality was lacking.
