Haven't been to Outback in a LONG time, but decided to visit the "new" Cullman establishment. Unfortunately we were not impressed!!! The food was not good. The atmosphere was freezing cold and our food took exceptionally long to come out. Ordered my steak medium-well...but it came out medium. Since we had to wait so long I was not going to dare send it back. My husband ordered the steak sandwich and he said it lacked flavor. The server was VERY GOOD though. IT is not often that my husband thinks a server is good...and he thought our server was great. Nevertheless, we will NOT be back! FYI ..I also got sick from the food. :-(

Ordered bone in ribeye and I’ll let you all judge from the picture. It does have a bone but expected better. Especially for a 20oz at $35. Price is not the problem. The amount of “seasoning “ was covered. A good cut of meat doesn’t need it. Just be prepared. Outback used to be much better. The onion was cooked in week old oil and the salad dressing was watered down. Cook temps on 4 steaks only one was correct. Hope they improve but be advised.

This location continues to impress us with its level of customer service. Every visit has been consistently great, but this one stood out.
We had just landed from my hometown of Las Vegas and drove straight here before even going home. Our server, Sutherline (I hope I spelled her name correctly), was a breath of fresh air. There’s a clear difference between the West Coast vibe and true Southern hospitality, and her presence, attentiveness, and warmth made that immediately evident.
Our food came out promptly, and she checked on us multiple times without ever being overbearing-just genuinely attentive and welcoming.
Out of all the dining experiences we had this past week, she was easily one of the best.
Highly recommend this location-and if you can, ask for Sutherline.

I hadn’t been to an Outback in years but glad I tried it today! Clean dining area and restrooms. Our server was the best and food delivered promptly. A couple observations about our food…the Blooming Onion was extremely greasy and my potato soup, while very tasty, was lukewarm. Our steaks were very good, not disappointed there. Will definitely come back when in the area.

The only good thing was the steak. Sent my asparagus back to the kitchen because it was still almost raw and I couldn't bite it off. Waited 45 minutes after we ordered and the place wasn't even busy. Had to ask what was taking so long when the manager walked by. Our server was nice, but the over the top friendliness can sometimes be as annoying as someone being rude. Fries were a small portion and way to salty. Definitely not worth the $100 it cost to eat there. Another place in Cullman with mediocre food, crappy service, and overpriced menu. Go to the Brandon Iron for $40 or make a steak at home. Definitely won't be back.
