  Exceptional food and exceptional service from Ann J. Everything we ordered was phenomenal. The 14 oz Ribeye was cooked with a beautiful crust that surrounded a juicy, buttery soft perfectly marbled steak. To top it off were the beignets - which should be illegal they taste so good. We also never jiggled ice once all evening. Ann was spot on with her service. Great job!

  Great vibe. Food was really good. Mash potatoes were a little cool and raw tasting but not bad. I would suggesting changing to a russet and whipping the potatoes a lot more and adding more butter. Plate them hot! They use beef tallow for frying. Wow, so good... the French fries and the Brussels sprouts were awesome. The menu is very focused with just enough variety. Not the best place for a quite, romantic dinner; but if you're looking for a lively atmosphere for the family, great service, and scrumptious food served with a tasty adult beverage, you will be pleased.

  I can’t speak to the food since we never actually got the chance to eat (which is disappointing because of all the other reviews talking about how good the food is) but this restaurant seriously needs to improve its customer service—and address its pest control. On Saturday, we called ahead and were told the wait would be about 30 minutes. Since we had a 35-minute drive, we figured the timing would work out well, especially because their online waitlist tracker showed “0 minutes” by the time we arrived. However, when we got there, we were told it would be another 15-minute wait. No big deal; but after waiting 30 minutes with no update, we went inside to check on our status. We stood there for about 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged us, only to be told the wait time was “just an estimate” and would likely be another 15–20 minutes but they couldn’t be sure and it wasn’t their fault that people were loitering. Meanwhile, there were multiple empty tables, including two 4-tops next to each other and additional open seating elsewhere. As a party of six, it was unclear to me why we couldn’t be accommodated. We went back outside and waited another 10 minutes before finally deciding to leave— from the excessive wait time and especially since we were being eaten alive by mosquitoes the entire time. We ended up driving to another restaurant, were seated within 15 minutes, and had menus and drinks before we finally received a text saying our table here was ready. Being quoted a 30-minute wait and then not being “seated” until nearly two hours later is incredibly frustrating and unacceptable. Hopefully I don’t end up with cellulitis from how many mosquito bites are on my legs.

  Absolutely amazing food and overall experience! Every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is modern yet comfortable, making it a great spot for both casual dining and special occasions. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations—definitely one of the best places to eat in Cullman. Highly recommend!”

  This was my first time here and I must say we were NOT disappointed. This is a cute cozy building that just makes you want to stop and go see what it’s about. We got there right when they opened and was greeted by smiles and quickly seated. Selena was sweet, helpful and quick to respond to our requests. Within minutes the place was filled. It felt like a warm family reunion. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich with fries and I must say it was a 10/10 the best ever. The chicken was juicy, lettuce crisp and bright and the pesto was perfect. The fries were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. We also ordered the Fried green tomato BLT and it would be worth the drive from anywhere to try this. Definitely 10/10. But the star of the show was the fried catfish sandwich, it made us gasp when it came out. Averaging about 5-6 inches tall. Crisp outside, nice flaky fish inside. Only problem (not really 😆) was she said she couldn’t get her mouth around it. Before I left I was able to meet the owner Stephen. A gracious man who greeted with a smile and wanted to make sure everything was perfect. This place has it all. We saw couples sitting at the bar, workers gathered for lunch, friends gathered to catch up, a older man sitting reading and then us, a family gathered from South Birmingham and from way up in Virginia enjoying the best lunch I have had in a while
