Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
By far the worst Wataburger on the planet!
Just a few observations. Spent 20 minutes waiting for an order that was missing a Burger, another 20 minutes waiting for the missing burger. And the person (Leo) at the register got confused and just left the register for about 4 minutes while everyone just stared at the back wondering what happened.
This place is a travesty.

I placed an online order, patiently waited until 30 minutes past the estimated completion time after I checked in at the register, and then was told they lost my order (mind you, they had given us our drinks from that order already.) Cashier got my order info from my app, took my phone to the manager, and then told me (per the manager) that my order information was gone. Manager never spoke to me, no apology or anything. I would not recommend this particular Whataburger location. I'm currently going through the app to get my refund.

Restaurant was super busy with typical spring break rush. A bit longer than a typical fast food wait time but the Restaurant was inundated with 2 large passenger vans. Food was hot and fresh. Staff was working hard to keep food moving and the Restaurant clean.

Hard pass... This location was very busy when stopped, they were hammered, the line was almost out of the door. We should have keep going.
It took a few min to get a table, which is understandable as they were busy.
The burger was order with cheese, but didn't come with cheese. They corrected by place a piece of cheese in a container and giving it to me. The burgers were dry and simply wasn't very good.
The French fries were not salted, but they were ok.
Avocado bacon burger was absolutely a mess... slopy.. it tasted ok.

My family used to take trips to Texas to visit family. We would always stop at a Whataburger along the way. While the years may have passed, this Whataburger reminded me of so many good memories because it was like they put me in a time machine. The food was just as delicious as it was so many years ago. The staff were friendly and conscientious of their duties. I could not be happier to see that they have expanded to Alabama. Highly recommend going here.
