It’s no longer the best seafood restaurant in town. Had reservations for 2:15 didn’t get seated until 3:30. It took 50 minutes to get our food. No one in my group enjoyed their food. The drinks was overpriced but good.

Never again. We were hoping for a good experience since we had gone go the Atlanta location before and that was very good Parts of my order was not available, there was no price adjustment. Grill Snapper very salt, I was biting salt grains. I waited 26 min for 4 persons to process my payment with an international card.

I didn’t plan on writing another review… but some experiences don’t let you walk away quietly. This one begins—and ends—with a name: Ney. Say it once. Then say it again. NEY. There’s something about her presence—you feel it before you even understand it. Calm. Focused. Intentional. I’m putting real respect on her name. Period. As always, I asked the question: “What do you like—and why?” She didn’t rush. Didn’t hesitate. Just a quiet confidence, like she already knew the journey I was about to take. And if you allow it… she will guide you through what feels less like a meal and more like a Tour de Louisiana. Here’s where the path led: Shrimp & Crawfish Fondeaux Seafood Sausage Gumbo Jumbo Shrimp Brochette Red Snapper & Jumbo Shrimp Drinks: The Grand Hennessy Pineapple Refresher The wait was minimal… almost like time itself slowed down just enough to let the experience unfold. The drinks? Smooth, powerful—like they were crafted with intention, not just poured. The food? It’ll make you feel something. Not disappointment—regret. The kind that whispers, “Why didn’t you come here sooner?” And the atmosphere… it settles around you. Not loud, not forced—just present. Comfortable enough to let your guard down and actually be in the moment. Some places serve food. Some places create experiences. This one… does both. Ask for Ney. Ney, Thank YOU SO MUCH!!!

I am here visiting Birmingham. This was one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. The service we received from Ney was exceptional. Her attentiveness to our needs were outstanding. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and assisted us with customization of our individual meals. All our appetizers and entrees were delicious. Entrees were made with fresh ingredients and served hot. Thank you Ney and Pappadeaux for a flavorful and relaxing, Bdining experience.

We arrived on time for our reservation on a Tuesday night. There were only 13 tables in the dining room.we were in. We ordered 3 appetizers and 1 of them was never delivered. The birthday guest at out table and my wife waited an hour before their drinks were brought to the table. My entree was brought to tjhe table after everyone else at the table had finished their entrees. A side of potatoes was never delivered to the table. One person at our table told them absolutely do not put broccoli on my plate. The filet was brought out severely undercooked with a mound of broccoli and broccoli juice all over the steak. The mamager came out and aplogized and tried to blame it all on the kitchen. The waiter returned to offer the birthday guest a desert and walked away without asking if anyone else wanted any. My wife tracked him.down amd made him come back to the table so the rest of us could order desert. Despite having a dining room with 30 plus tables they sat all 13 guests all in one corner making it really loud while the staff stayed on the other side of the restaurant. The ribeye was fantastic, the salmon was great, the trout and the pasta mardi gras were decent. The trout came with butternut squash with blackened seasoning on it. My wife asked for lite seasoning on the trout which they did but the squash had so much on it she couldnt eat it. Will never go again. Simply not worth it.
