I had a horrible experience ,after receiving confirmation my $50 "order is ready for pickup" when arriving for pickup was told the main items ordered Oatmeal raisin cookies were not available. Also ordered soup, salad, sandwich etc...To make it easy for them i requested to replace cookies with different cookies. When i got home there were no replacement cookies but enough pastries to feed a ball team and there was no soup in the bag. When calling to get it corrected I was told they wouldn't refund, give store credit, or even provide a managers name.BUYERS beware!!!

Worst Panera Bread I've ever been to. I called in a order for pickup. I get home and find out two bags of chips were missing. I live 15 miles from this location and wasn't happy about having to drive back to get my missing chips. After getting back home to eat our meal, I find the worst sandwiches (salad stuffer) I've ever had. The bread was hard as a rock and the loaf was not hollowed out enough to accommodate two table spoons of stuffing. In my stuffer, the salad was wilted too. After all this, I felt I had to make another trip to this restaurant. The manager said they have been getting a lot of complaints about these sandwiches. The thing is, I was at Panera Bread at UAB hospital two days previous to this and everything was perfect, including this very same sandwich. Why would you serve something to a customer you wouldn't eat yourself?

I have to say I have always liked Panera, and I've come to this location before without any issues. But the service today was spectacular! The cashier, I think his name was Steve, was so sweet and really made it a great experience. He was so friendly to greet us which I've never really had before since I use the kiosk to place the order. And he made sure to check in with us and make sure we were taken care of. It's not often you find customer service like that! The food is always good, but the service is what will keep me coming back!

Trussville Panera Bread is a very mediocre experience with barely enough redeeming qualities to justify walking in the door. It's not ridiculously busy, but not dead either. The tables appear clean from a distance, but when you sit down, it's apparent that the employees rarely tend to the dining room. Our order was taken rather quickly, and the food came at a similar pace. The food quality left something to be desired. Biting into the bread of my toasted Italiano sandwich was an experience I'd liken to breaching the hull of the Titanic. It took an iceberg of effort to get through the crust and sever a mouthful of sandwich from the main body (which, mind you, was rather small for $7.50). The bacon mac n' cheese was satisfactory, but let's be honest: it's very difficult to mess up mac n' cheese. Now would also be a good time to mention the fact that upon one visit, my grandmother's wallet was stolen from this location. It's not the kind of thing I'd expect to happen just anywhere in Trussville. If you want to spend your days squandering your paycheck on mediocre food paired with questionably average service, and you like to top it all off by having your recently emptied wallet misappropriated, Panera Bread Trussville is an extremely effective candidate wherein to accomplish such goals.
