Our server was Chad and he did an amazing job making sure we had everything timely. The food was fantastic. We had the tomahawk steak which was cooked perfectly. The macaroni and cheese, au gratin potatoes, and the Brussel sprouts which I cannot recommend enough!! Our mixed drinks were fantastic and we had a bottle of prosecco. Wonderful new years eve experience.

Sat at bar, ignored for 5 minutes but there were 3 employees behind the bar and the bar wasn't full. For a "high end" steakhouse, complete fail. Their sister restaurant Outback does a better job

Unfortunately, on day 2 of gastrointestinal issues from said lunch. There are finer restaurants in town. The steaks, however, was a major disappointment. My wife ordered a Fillet Mignon. Our waiter assured us that 'medium' is pink all the way through with no red. When she cut into it (which arrived very quickly), it was deep red throughout, so we had to send it back. It came back better, but still too raw for her. She didn't want to wait any longer, so she ate it. But besides being under-cooked (for her liking), it was a little tough, and flavorless. I ordered the Prime New York Strip. It was cooked a perfect medium, but was one of the worst cuts of New York Strip I've ever had. I expect some fat in a Strip, but not as much as this had, and there was so much gristle that it made it difficult to eat. I left probably about 3 oz. of fat and gristle on my plate... the waiter actually thought it was left-over steak and asked if I wanted it boxed! I told him that no, that was in-edible, and he didn't comment, apologize... anything. For the price of these steaks, I wouldn't expect any bad cut of meat, much less 2 out of 2 to be bad. These were worse that I would get at Outback or Texas Roadhouse... for 1/4 of the price. We were hoping for a great new place to eat in Birmingham, but unfortunately, we will not be back. I'll take Ruth's Chris any time over this.
