  Chipotle across from Auburn Mall. It’s 1:30 PM. I came in to place a dinner order for approximately 10 firefighters at a local station and asked the cashier if I could speak to the manager for guidance on the order. Do I order in bulk? What do they normally do for firefighters? I didn’t want to hold up the line where people order food. The cashier attempted to get the manager, who was working on the food prep line. The manager responded loudly, “I’m too busy, I can’t answer a question, ask her what she wants,” while I was standing there. At that point, no one took ownership of the interaction. The cashier had already deferred to the manager and the manager refused without delegating or offering an alternative. This was not a line delay issue. They were not overly busy. It was a breakdown in basic floor management: no acknowledgment, no delegation and no customer handling for a non standard, but high value order. It might have become a regular thing! I left without placing the order and took the business elsewhere. A reasonable response would have been a brief acknowledgment and either a short wait time or a clear handoff to another employee. This is a management issue, not a staffing issue. The cashier was fine. I’m tired of poor customer service. I’m just so tired of it. No guacamole- no matter how great- is worth the hassle of dealing with untrained management who have little pride in their work. Julie

  Indifferent staff, extra slow “service”, and the food quality was awful. The chicken was scorched and had approaching wood.

  will not be back, paid $4 for extra chicken and got this crap. Burnt to a crisp dry and tough couldn't even eat it

  Ordered a burrito. Said my order was ready when I got to the window which it was not and I had to wait. Had cars behind me so pulled out. Got home and had a bowl not a burrito. As well as salsas and a chimichurri side also left out because they “ran out” with no request to compensate the money I had paid.
