Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
First time visiting and it was overall the cleanest store I have been in. The staff was so friendly, very active with the customers, the food was hot and correct. We truly enjoyed the experience and the fact that the manager Danielle came around wished us and everyone else a Happy Easter and made sure we were all happy with our experience made it even better. Attalla location would definitely get more visits from us. 5 Star Plus

Best whataburger ever. Great food, great people. I had a guy harassing me. They came out to check on me and made the man leave me alone. My heart was racing as he had already followed me through 2 exits. And they called the law on him and made sure i was ok. I can't thank them enough! The guy pulled off and left after arguing with the manager when she came out. Thank you so much for caring about your customers!!

Me and my husband ordered chocolate shakes and when we got them they were clearly vanilla. We told the lady and she said that "it's chocolate the machine makes it look like that". Well I tried it and it's definitely vanilla lol. The fries were not seasoned but the burgers were good. Me and my husband have been traveling all over Alabama and getting Whataburger along the way and this has been the worse one we've been to thus far.

I ordered through the app: a plain hamburger with grilled onions added, a Monterrey Melt, and a large fries. There were no grilled onions available, and I didn't receive my fries. The staff clearly had no desire to do their jobs; I arrived, and my order still wasn't ready. I had placed my order at 11:09—since I was just getting off work and knew it would take me a while to get there—and I set the pickup time for 11:30. I was on my way when the app notified me at 11:35 that it was ready. Great! I arrived around 11:45; they weren't busy, yet my order *still* wasn't ready. After a long wait, they finally handed it to me. I got home—tired after my workday—and, oh, what a surprise: my order was incomplete! 😀👍 I will never eat at this location again.

Very disappointing. I ordered Monterey Melt meal for over $16.00.
I do not comprehend why people do not understand how important their job is to someone like me. I have worked almost 15 hours today, and without a break or eating anything all day. I make $15/hr so the meal I ordered was an hour worth of me working like a dog to pay for it. I did not order any type of specialty to the sandwich, than how they make it every day, so where is the peppers and onions? It is 9:15pm and only 4 cars are in the entire parking lot and only one person has went through the drive thru so they are not busy. Whoever made the sandwich should take a little pride and prepare the sandwich to how it is supoose to come. I value your job and what you do more than you do!
The lady who took my money was pleasant, as well as, the man that brought the food to me. The condiments I asked for was given. I went through drive thru so do not know the atmosphere to properly give a review.
I was asked to pull up so they had ample time to properly cook the meal, according to the specs advertised, but the meal (fries and sandwich) were not hot and was luke warm. Since I was starving, I was still grateful, but disappointed since not the normal amount of onions and peppers present, therefore, why I gave a low rating.
