  I don't usually wright bad reviews, I'm usually a very understanding person but however this doesn't even make sense to me. We got two egg,cheese McGriddles one with sausage and the other with bacon and all we got was McGriddle bread with a piece of sausage in two tiny pieces of bacon no cheese or egg when we called they said it was out fault cuz we didn't double check with the people makeing our order that it was going to have cheese or egg and then our biscuit was hard as a brick and burned and our hash browns where cold and soggy. This is the dumbest thing I've heard

  If I could give a negative review I would. My husband and I were traveling home from Birmingham and stopped at 9:55pm to get food and use the restroom. The employees and manager were staring at us as we opened the door to make sure they were open. Even though the sign says lobby is open until 11pm, a cashier came to the door and said you know we are closed right? And locked us out. And we can see multiple employees standing inside waiting with a cigarette in their hand to go out and smoke. As we are locked out they all went out the other door to go and smoke. They are watching us and staring while trying to figure out what just happened? My husband is African American and we can't help but feel as if that's why they were "closed" an hour before the sign states the lobby closes. Racism is NOT OK. ESPECIALLY FROM A MULTI MILLION DOLLAR COMPANY. The way we're treated and had the door locked in our faces makes us sick. Do better McDonald's. I'm sure people who are not white spend plenty of money at McDonald's. The treatment and stares make us want to get a lawyer. Like you literally see a black man open the unlocked restaurant door and decide y'all closed early?! While judging and staring. I almost forgot they had another employee standing at the other door in case we tried it, staring too. It's places like your McDonald's that keeps the racism alive in 2025 and that's just sad.

  Isaiah, I believe is his name, at the McDonalds in Atalla was absolutely amazing tonight. A party before us had completely trashed the dining area and this kid busted his buttocks waiting on people while also trying to clean up. He had the best, most pleasant attitude and was so sweet. This boy deserves a raise! Also, the food was hot and so good. Love this location. Please treat the employees with a little more respect... especially on a "holiday".
