Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Staff were super friendly and efficient, and the burger were amazing! We were traveling back to Ohio on a 16-hour drive and I was famished. I was craving a burger, but my daughter is obsessed with Buc-ee's, where we had just stopped, and I had grabbed a brisket sandwich for the road. Then, right after we left, I saw a Whataburger. Never having had it, and not having one in our area, I had to stop. I ordered the double meat Whataburger, and when I was handed the sandwich, it was HEAVY. This burger was so thick, juicy and flavorful! I don't even know what my wife and daughter ordered, as I was lost in blissful gluttony, stuffing my pie-hole with this beautiful thing. Needless to say, the brisket from Buc-ee's was not eaten on that day. My only disappointment is that I REALLY want to try the jalapeño Whataburger and their spicy chicken, and I have no Whataburger location anywhere near us. So...until I travel that way or the franchise expands into our neck of the woods...I'll have to wait. But definitely a righteous burger! Props Whataburger!

The fried egg was thick and spongy. He had a breakfast sandwich which he said was decent, but anyway.... I don't eat at Whataburger... we just made a quick stop on a road trip...
