Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

It takes 30 minutes to get a biscuit. This place is an absolute joke.

Incredibly slow drive-thru. Was traveling through late at night and it was the only thing open close to the highway exit. I was absolutely starving so I decided to swing by and grab a quick bite before getting back on the road. After sitting in the Drive-Thru for 25 minutes, I decided to leave. If the drive-thru moves that slow, I can't imagine how lackluster and horrible the customer service and food must be. Do better!

Ordered one shake at 12.29pm and still had not received it by 12.47pm. Was not acknowledged by any staff about my order or wait time.

It was really disappointing. They ran out of kid size patties, so we couldn't get a kids hamburger, and they ran out of buffalo sauce for their limited edition special buffalo chicken sandwich. I had to pull off to the side of drive thru because the nuggets weren't ready. Then they gave my order to a car behind me and they didn't notice until the other customer came in and complained it wasn't their order. Also, I asked for bbq sauce and only regular ketchup; they gave me spicy ketchup and regular, no bbq sauce. Just absolutely bizarre for a busy Sunday night. The food was fine. But the service was really sad.
