There was an old man behind the counter smacking loudly on his gum with his mouth open directly over the food. We saw some spit come out of his mouth while he was handling someone else’s food so we left. I just went in there again today, trying to give the store the benefit of the doubt, and the same man was doing the same thing in the deli (around the chicken). THAT IS DISGUSTING. How has a manager never addressed that? I will never shop in this Carrs again because I cannot trust that the food is sanitary. I recommend going to the one in Palmer, no one in there is spitting on the food and the whole store is a lot cleaner. Terrible management.
