  I’ve avoided fast food for quite a while, mostly due to poor service and inconsistent quality in this area. Recently, I decided to give Dairy Queen another shot and brought my kids in for an early dinner/late lunch and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. When we walked in, I stood at the counter for about 10 minutes while multiple employees saw me but didn’t acknowledge or assist. When someone finally came to help, she seemed visibly annoyed and uninterested in taking the order. I ordered a large drink, but what they consider a “large” is noticeably small compared to typical standards and even compared to the other cup sizes visible behind the counter. It felt misleading. The biggest issue, though, was the wait time. It took around 35–40 minutes just to receive our food, which is far from what anyone would expect from a fast food restaurant. Overall, the environment didn’t feel welcoming, and for over $40 spent, the experience simply didn’t match the cost. I understand fast food jobs can be tough I’ve worked in them myself but strong leadership and management can make a big difference in both service and atmosphere. Unfortunately, that wasn’t reflected here. I really wanted this visit to change my mind, but it ended up reinforcing why I stopped coming in the first place.

  I know staff changes a lot but the current staff has been great! Hadn’t been in a while and have been a couple times recently. Super friendly staff, correct orders, and quick pickup. 🙌

  My wife and I went by here today for the free cone day. the gentleman at the window stated that they ran out but offered us rainchecks and told us about a new flavor(peach) that will be available soon. Being in customer service myself for 16+ years, this gentleman hit the double circle on the target from MILES away. HE has VERY GOOD customer service skills/attitude. we WILL be back to this store.
