- ZZZ ZSep 22, 20251.0Just wanted to share a few notes from our visit to the Subway here in Cantwell, since it's pretty much the only option around Denali. The employee who helped us, I think her name was Alex, seemed like she was in a real hurry. I probably took a bit too long deciding, so my advice is to know exactly what you want before you get to the counter. It just helps keep things moving along for them. Also, maybe double-check your order as it's being made. I asked for a 6-inch but ended up with a footlong. My friend chose flatbread but got a wrap. A big surprise! Oh, I ordered one of the new options right off their menu board, and she gave me a really confused look, almost like she'd never heard of it before. She also almost forgot the avocado, but we caught it at the end - no big deal, I guess things get missed when it's busy. BTW, the other two male employees were friendly enough and kept smiling tho. Anyway, it's a Subway. It gets the job done. Just a very different vibe from what we're used to. The service here definitely has its own unique flavor.
